Governador da Paraíba anuncia show de Paralamas do Sucesso no aniversário de João Pessoa
O governador João Azevêdo anunciou, nesta segunda-feira (22), a programação alusiva ao aniversário da cidade de João Pessoa, no dia 5 de agosto. A inauguração de obras e o show do grupo Paralamas do Sucesso fazem parte das comemorações. O anúncio foi feito durante o programa semanal Fala Governador transmitido pela rádio Tabajara e pelas redes sociais do Governo.
De acordo com o governador, a programação começa no dia 4 de agosto, com a apresentação de Seu Pereira e Coletivo 401, Totonho e DJ Luana Flores, no Teatro de Arena do Espaço Cultural. O show terá início às 20h com entrada gratuita. Já no dia 5 de agosto, data que marca o aniversário de João Pessoa, haverá a entrega do Batalhão Especializado de Policiamento com Motocicletas que vai reforçar a ação das forças de segurança.
O Batalhão representa mais de R$ 3 milhões de investimento – sendo cerca de R$ 2,5 milhões anuais na frota –, que inicialmente vai operar com 100 motos que serão entregues no dia da inauguração. Cerca de R$ 500 mil foram destinados à compra de equipamentos de proteção individual para os policiais, além de novos fardamentos. Outros R$ 100 mil foram investidos na preparação da base do Batalhão com Motocicletas, que ficará em plena avenida Epitácio Pessoa, um local estratégico da capital.
“Essa obra faz parte do atual pacote de inaugurações que o Governo do Estado está concretizando e vem para reforçar e dar mais mobilidade ao trabalho da segurança pública. Esse novo Batalhão tem o objetivo de diminuir ainda mais a violência no estado da Paraíba”, comentou João Azevêdo.
Ainda no dia 5 de agosto, tem atração cultural no aniversário de João Pessoa. O Governo do Estado vai promover um grande show no Teatro Pedra do Reino, no Centro de Convenções, com a apresentação da Orquestra Sinfônica da Paraíba e do grupo Paralamas do Sucesso que vai presentear o público com músicas que marcaram gerações.
